About the Nursery

Kiddi Caru Day Nursery in Peterborough, part of Grandir UK, is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join its child-centred team. The role focuses on helping children feel supported, curious and confident while they learn and grow each day.

The nursery offers a well-equipped environment with engaging playrooms, learning resources, a calming sensory room and a large outdoor garden space that encourages exploration and connection with nature.

Compensation

The salary for this position is £22,568 to £26,437, depending on experience and qualifications, with regular pay reviews.

Key Duties

• Keep children safe and supported throughout the day.
• Set up and help run activities under the direction of Level 3 qualified practitioners.
• Help maintain a bright, inviting and well-presented setting for children.
• Follow the organisation’s policies, procedures and day-to-day working practices.
• Maintain a professional, positive approach when dealing with children, families, visitors and colleagues.
• Take part in staff meetings, planning sessions and any training required for the role.

Workplace and Location

The nursery is based in the Sugar Way estate in Peterborough, close to the city centre. It sits opposite Lidl and is on a main bus route, making it easy to access from Peterborough and nearby areas. The site is around 10 to 15 minutes from the town centre and train station, and about 15 minutes from Woodston Primary School.
