Role overview
Balmoral Financial is expanding and is seeking an experienced Credit Analyst, Client Services Manager, or Loan Processor to support the team with increasing mortgage demand. This position is based in Brisbane and is intended for someone who is already onshore and located in or near Brisbane.
The office environment includes convenient parking, nearby cafés, and a positive team culture. The business expects to relocate the office closer to the city within the next 12 to 18 months, so the location would suit candidates living near the Gateway area or South Brisbane.
You will work closely with an experienced brokerage team and a highly experienced Credit Manager, with support from another pre-credit team member. The role focuses on structuring, assessing, and moving residential lending applications through the full process.
The position can be offered as either full-time or part-time, and there is WFH flexibility for the right person alongside an in-office setup in Brisbane.
Key responsibilities
- Review residential lending situations and shape deals in an appropriate way
- Assess serviceability, income, liabilities, and lender policy requirements
- Prepare loan applications and oversee them through approval and settlement
- Communicate with lenders, clients, and internal team members
- Assist brokers with credit strategy and deal structuring
- Handle several loan files at once while maintaining accuracy and speed
About you
- Background in residential lending, ideally gained with a bank, lender, or brokerage
- Good knowledge of lender policy and servicing calculations
- Clear, confident verbal communication and a professional phone manner
- Strong analytical ability and a high level of attention to detail
- Comfortable managing multiple files at different stages simultaneously
- Positive mindset and a strong work ethic
