Lead Scheduler

Role overview

This Perth-based opportunity sits within a leading water treatment and infrastructure environment, supporting complex projects that deliver essential utility outcomes. The position is centered on keeping multidisciplinary project teams aligned through strong planning, monitoring, and reporting across the full delivery cycle.

The organization places emphasis on sustainability, high standards, and teamwork, and works on major water and wastewater infrastructure programs.

What you'll do

• Build, maintain, and revise integrated project schedules in Oracle Primavera P6 or Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC).
• Work closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning groups to keep schedule data accurate and current.
• Develop baseline programs and assess how scope changes or delays affect the overall plan.
• Carry out critical path reviews and shape recovery actions and mitigation plans where needed.
• Produce management reporting such as dashboards, look-ahead schedules, earned value analysis, and schedule risk assessments.
• Run scheduling workshops and help ensure governance standards and planning best practices are applied throughout the project lifecycle.

What we're looking for

• 7 to 10 years of scheduling experience overall, including at least 3 years in a lead or senior role.
• Direct experience in water treatment, wastewater, or similar infrastructure environments.
• Background in EPCM or client-side delivery on large-scale projects.
• Strong working knowledge of Oracle Primavera Cloud (OPC) and Primavera P6.
• Exposure to MS Project, Power BI, and scheduling databases.
• Sound understanding of project controls, earned value management, and risk analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Primavera P6/OPC certification is considered a strong advantage.
