This is a permanent full-time opportunity for a Junior QS/Estimator in County Clare, Ireland, supporting an engineering-sector employer.

Examine tender packs, specifications, drawings, and client needs to build a clear understanding of each bid.
Develop detailed pricing estimates and commercial quotations.
Prepare tender submissions together with the technical information needed to support them.
Track estimating queries and all correspondence related to tenders.
Keep opportunities, quotations, and project data up to date in Salesforce and other internal platforms.
File and manage project and commercial records in an organised manner.
Assist with commercial oversight across several live projects at once.
Assess contract wording to highlight commercial exposure, responsibilities, and potential risks.

Background in estimating, quantity surveying, or commercial support within construction, engineering, or a similar field.
Good numeracy, analytical ability, and commercial judgement.
Capability to read and interpret technical drawings, tender documents, and specifications.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Able to juggle several tenders and deadlines at the same time.
Very accurate with a strong eye for detail.
Can work on own initiative as well as contribute effectively in a team.
