Key Duties

The job includes keeping all spaces clean and organized, performing routine cleaning, maintaining bathrooms, handling waste disposal, tidying storage areas, taking care of outdoor debris, and completing assigned work efficiently with limited supervision. The role also requires compliance with safety rules and reporting unsafe conditions or maintenance concerns to a supervisor.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-focused, and able to work independently while maintaining a strong work ethic. Good communication, the ability to juggle several tasks, and a proactive approach to spotting maintenance issues are important.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory. The employer also prefers applicants who can manage time well, work safely with cleaning products and basic equipment, follow schedules and directions, cooperate with others, and use computers. Bilingual candidates are preferred.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Applicants must be able to wear all required PPE, which may include safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, a high-visibility vest, a hard hat, and any other protective equipment required in the plant or field. The role involves standing, walking, climbing stairs, moving across uneven surfaces, and working in active industrial areas. Exposure to moving equipment, machinery, outdoor weather, noise, dust, and vibration may occur.
