Key responsibilities

• Move products safely and deliver them to homes or business locations.
• Open, assemble, and install different types of products in line with manufacturer instructions and company requirements.
• Carry out checks before installation and test the product after setup to confirm it works correctly.
• Explain product use, basic upkeep, and simple troubleshooting steps to customers.
• Respond to customer questions and concerns in a polite and professional manner.
• Prepare and submit all required paperwork, such as installation records, delivery confirmations, and customer feedback documents.
• Keep tools, equipment, and company vehicles in proper condition.
• Follow safety procedures and internal policies at all times.
• Coordinate with dispatch and customer service staff to complete installations on schedule.
• Spot and report any damage or product defects during the installation process.

Requirements

• High school completion or an equivalent qualification is required.
• Vocational training or certification in a related area, such as appliance repair or electronics installation, is an advantage.
• Prior experience in installation, assembly, or a similar hands-on role is preferred.
• Good mechanical understanding and strong troubleshooting ability are needed.
• Ability to understand technical manuals and diagrams is important.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Physical fitness to lift heavy items and repeat manual tasks is necessary.
• A valid driving licence with a clean driving record is required.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is needed.
• Ability to work independently and manage time well is important.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings and weekends, may be required.
