Seera creates and distributes premium cinematic micro-series designed for today’s short-form viewing behavior. Its stories are built around Arab culture, language, and values, with an emphasis on authenticity, local relevance, and responsible entertainment. The company works with writers, directors, and production professionals across the region to develop original content that reflects the realities, ambitions, and creative energy of audiences in Saudi Arabia and the broader MENA region.
Role summary
As a Founders Associate, you will partner closely with the founders to move strategic and operational work forward across the business. The role is broad, hands-on, and highly cross-functional, with responsibilities spanning analysis, operations, partnerships, fundraising support, and special projects.
Strategy and analysis
You will gather, organize, and interpret the key metrics that guide the company’s decisions, including downloads, coin-economy behavior, SVOD conversion, retention, CAC, and LTV. You will also maintain regular competitive tracking of the microdrama and MENA streaming landscape, including players such as ReelShort, DramaBox, ShortMax, and Shahid.
Content and production operations
You will help manage the content pipeline by coordinating with writers, studios, dubbing and localization partners, and release scheduling teams. This also includes monitoring throughput and keeping track of the cost per episode.
Partnerships and business development support
You will assist in identifying, preparing, and progressing partnership opportunities across distribution, telco/carrier billing, content licensing, and regional platforms. Your work will include developing supporting materials and ensuring follow-through on next steps.
Fundraising and investor support
You will help maintain the data room, support financial model inputs, update pitch materials, and prepare investor updates. You will also coordinate logistics for due diligence.
Special projects and founder support
You will take ownership of ambiguous, cross-functional work end to end, such as preparing for new market entry, testing monetization ideas, running a hiring sprint, or supporting a vendor migration. You will also prepare for meetings, push decisions to closure, and keep action items from falling through the cracks.
What you bring
The role calls for strong organization, project management, prioritization, and stakeholder coordination skills. You should be comfortable conducting research, turning complex information into practical insights, and communicating clearly in writing and speaking. Confidence working with spreadsheets or basic dashboards is important, as is the ability to thrive independently in a remote setting and adapt quickly as priorities change. A strong interest in film, series production, or storytelling is preferred, ideally with familiarity with Arab culture and regional media trends.
Additional information
A bachelor’s degree in business, economics, media, communications, or a closely related field is preferred, although equivalent practical experience is also acceptable. Experience in startups, consulting, media, or entertainment would be an added advantage.
