Role Overview

This opportunity is for an Embedded C / Firmware Technical Lead working on technology initiatives within projects. The role focuses on guiding teams, maintaining technical quality, and ensuring that project deliverables are completed successfully.

Experience expected for this role is 5 to 10 years.

Key Responsibilities

• Set and promote strong development practices, coding standards, and effective use of RTOS in embedded C work to ensure reliable, high-quality output.
• Support the growth of team members by mentoring them in Embedded C and C++, and by running training or knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Review technical work carefully, contribute to feasibility discussions, evaluate design alternatives and risks, and help define sound architecture and implementation approaches.
• Track project progress through detailed status reporting, identify risks early, and communicate mitigation plans clearly to stakeholders.

Technical Requirements

• Strong hands-on command of Embedded C programming and related development tools.
• Solid understanding of real-time operating systems and C++.
• Working knowledge of C/C++, UML-based analysis/design, and microcontroller platforms.
• At least 4 years of experience in embedded firmware design and development.
• Very good programming ability in both C and C++.
• Exposure to FreeRTOS is preferred, especially on ESP32-based systems.
• Experience with IoT technologies and BLE interactions.
• Prior work on payment devices using BLE is an advantage.
• Good understanding of SDLC and embedded system design fundamentals.
• Capability in code review, performance tuning, and quality assurance practices.

Eligibility

Applicants should hold a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any specialization.
