Estimator

Role Overview

An opportunity is available for an experienced Estimator to support a client team in California. This role centers on building reliable cost and resource estimates through careful analysis, coordination with cross-functional teams, and strong attention to detail.

What You’ll Do

• Study project plans, specifications, and requirements to develop precise cost estimates.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to collect the information needed for estimating.
• Gather pricing information by researching materials and obtaining subcontractor quotations.
• Examine project data to determine expected material, labor, and time needs.
• Create detailed reports and presentations that summarize estimation results.
• Complete estimates within required timelines while meeting company expectations.
• Stay current on industry practices, standards, and trends relevant to estimating.

Requirements

• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification is required.
• Strong number skills and the ability to analyze information accurately.
• Excellent organizational habits and close attention to detail.
• Comfort working independently as well as in a team setting.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with estimating tools or related software is considered an advantage.

Additional Information

Pay: $30 to $35 per hour.

Schedule: Monday through Friday.

Location: California.

Travel: About 0% travel expected.
