Role overview
We’re looking for a precise and organised Data Entry Clerk to support our remote operations team. In this position, you’ll be responsible for entering, updating, and maintaining information in company systems and databases while keeping records complete, consistent, and free from errors.
What you’ll do
- Enter data from source documents into internal systems with speed and accuracy.
- Review records to confirm correctness and resolve any inconsistencies.
- Keep databases and files up to date across different departments.
- Carry out basic quality checks to make sure information remains reliable.
- Organise digital documents and maintain orderly file structures.
- Prepare simple reports when required to support day-to-day processing.
Requirements
This role is open to candidates living in South Africa and can be performed entirely from home. You should bring prior experience in data entry or office administration, strong typing ability, and comfort using spreadsheets plus Microsoft Office or Google Workspace. A careful, methodical working style and solid written communication skills are important. You’ll also need a dependable internet connection and a suitable home workspace.
