Role Overview
This position leads the station operations function for JD Logistics in Saudi Arabia. The role is responsible for running service outlets end to end, strengthening the local team, supporting business expansion, and helping build the JoyExpress brand in the market. It covers last-mile delivery, customer relationship handling, revenue improvement, and day-to-day operational control.
What You Will Do
- Set yearly operating plans and budgets, then track performance against key targets such as on-time delivery for same-day and next-day services.
- Make sure station activities stay aligned with company operating standards and business goals.
- Lead local staff, including couriers, drivers, supervisors, and customer service teams, with a focus on training, performance reviews, and growth.
- Support localization goals by helping build and develop Saudi talent.
- Manage staffing levels by forecasting delivery volumes and hiring needs.
- Monitor attendance, prepare updates and reports on time, and keep operational records accurate.
- Oversee inbound and outbound movement, last-mile dispatch, and reverse logistics/returns at the station.
- Coordinate closely with HR, Finance, Fleet, and Customer Service to keep station operations running smoothly.
- Maintain compliance, handle urgent issues such as safety incidents, and work effectively with local communities and government bodies, including the Saudi Transport and Logistics Services Ministry.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally in logistics, management, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in operations management.
- Proven experience managing teams of 10 or more people.
- Exposure to cross-border e-commerce or the Middle East market will be an advantage.
- Strong command of both English and Arabic.
