AI / Machine Learning Teaching Assistant Intern

About the internship

This internship is centered on supporting classroom and lab-based teaching in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science. The selected intern will work alongside faculty and senior trainers to help deliver practical learning experiences, assist with academic materials, and guide students through coding and project work.

Key responsibilities

• Support instructors while they deliver sessions on AI, ML, and data science.
• Be present in coding labs, practical classes, and hands-on exercises to assist learners.
• Help students complete Python-based assignments and projects.
• Prepare datasets, slide decks, coding tasks, and other study resources.
• Track attendance, performance, and overall student progress.
• Assist learners in maintaining project portfolios using Google Colab and GitHub.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, learning content, and broader academic support work.
• Run doubt-clearing sessions under supervision from senior trainers.
• Work with the academic team to create an engaging learning environment.

Who can apply

This role is open only to candidates who can join a full-time, in-office internship, start between 23 June 2026 and 28 July 2026, and commit to a 6-month duration. Applicants should also bring relevant skills and genuine interest in the field.

Other requirements

• Education background should be B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc IT, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• Final-year students and recent graduates are welcome to apply.
• A strong interest in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and education is important.
• Basic Python programming knowledge is required.
• Good communication and presentation abilities are preferred.
• Candidates who are ready to deliver a short teaching demo will have an advantage.

Compensation and stipend structure

The internship offers a monthly stipend of INR 20,000. The stipend is made up of a fixed component of INR 5,000 per month and an incentive component of INR 15,000 per month.
