This remote contract role is intended for a research professional who can contribute high-quality input that helps improve and train advanced AI systems. The position centers on producing accurate, practical, and well-structured work that supports model learning, reasoning, and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out detailed research and analysis within your subject-matter area, turning findings into strong evidence-backed insights.
• Work with complex Word and PDF files, including tasks such as editing with tracked changes, filling forms, reviewing documents, and extracting data.
• Partner with teams across legal, healthcare, policy, and finance functions to support varied project requirements.
• Convert dense research material into concise reports and presentations that meet Fortune 500-level expectations.
• Review and combine academic papers, legal materials, or business data to guide project direction and deliverables.
• Maintain precision, internal consistency, and adherence to the provided standards across all written outputs.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders and teammates in both written and verbal formats.

Qualifications

• You should have at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in academic research, legal work, policy, healthcare, or a closely related field.
• A master’s degree, PhD, or JD from a recognized institution is required.
• You need hands-on experience preparing, editing, and reviewing Word and PDF documents, including tracked changes, formatting, document review, and data extraction.
• Strong writing and speaking skills, along with a very high level of attention to detail, are essential.
• You must be comfortable handling several priorities at once in a remote, deadline-oriented setting.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams on complex deliverables is expected.
• A history of producing polished, client-ready work is important.

Preferred background

• Experience supporting Fortune 500 organizations is an advantage.
• Exposure to document workflows in legal, healthcare, policy, or financial operations is preferred.
• An active record of publications or presentations in academic or professional settings is a plus.
