Role Overview

They are looking for a dependable and hands-on yard person to support workshop operations. The position is based in a workshop setting, with projects and work locations across the Perth metropolitan area. The role comes with a competitive hourly rate, as well as overtime loadings and allowances.

Key Duties

• Help with day-to-day workshop activities such as setting up, tidying the area, and carrying out manual tasks.
• Wash, care for, and maintain both mobile and fixed assets.
• Use basic tools and equipment safely while being supervised.
• Move materials and tools between locations, following proper load restraint practices.
• Assist with loading and unloading deliveries and preparing sites.
• Flag any missing or damaged tools and equipment.
• Follow workplace safety requirements and take part in safety meetings and briefings.

About You

• You hold a current WA manual driver’s licence.
• You have a forklift licence or EWP licence.
• You possess a valid Construction White Card.
• You are physically capable of performing manual work.
• You work well with others and bring a positive attitude.
• Experience in civil construction or similar environments is preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge is an advantage.
