Role Overview
This is an hourly contract opportunity for a Web Developer based remotely in Canada. The pay range is $20 to $70 per hour, and the expected commitment is 10 to 40 hours each week.
What You'll Do
- Create and support responsive web applications that are easy for users to navigate.
- Connect frontend interfaces with backend services and handle data flow between them.
- Work alongside design teams to deliver polished, intuitive user experiences.
- Identify bugs, resolve issues, and improve application speed and scalability.
- Develop code that is clean, maintainable, and thoroughly documented.
- Take part in planning discussions and contribute to technical decisions.
- Maintain clear communication with teammates and other stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
- Hands-on knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Practical experience working with and integrating backend APIs.
- Good understanding of responsive layouts and cross-browser compatibility.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setup.
- Experience using digital collaboration tools and working with distributed teams.
