Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

This position is suited to a hands-on warehouse professional who can keep day-to-day operations organized, accurate, and safe while supporting a collaborative, people-focused workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily activity in the warehouse and shipping areas, including order fulfillment, internal dispatches, receiving materials, routing stock to the right locations, keeping inventory records accurate, and supporting cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
• Check incoming goods against purchase orders, confirm that items arrive in acceptable condition, and immediately escalate any mismatch to the Purchase Department.
• Create and maintain work instructions for warehouse tasks and update procedures whenever operating needs change.
• Adjust workflow and operating methods to meet changing warehouse demand.
• Communicate company policies to the team and ensure safety rules are followed at all times.
• Suggest improvements that raise service quality, boost efficiency, and improve workforce and equipment performance.
• Continuously work to improve overall warehouse processes and service levels.
• Coordinate with the manager to align warehouse activity with other departments and internal customer needs.
• Track items that are due to expire within the next three months and submit a monthly update to the manager.
• Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and promptly report any stock falling below the minimum threshold.
• Arrange customer deliveries according to service-level commitments and immediately inform the relevant sales engineer of any delay.
• Maintain a service log for each vehicle and ensure all vehicles remain clean and operational.
• Keep a monthly record of deliveries completed by each driver.
• Review daily attendance for all subordinates and report absences or illness to HR, with a copy to the manager.
• Ensure the warehouse premises stay clean and are fully equipped with required safety tools and first-aid facilities.
• Support quarterly and annual stock counts.
• Maintain GRN records and share copies with the Purchase Department.
• Keep records of signed delivery orders and sales invoices and send copies to the Regional Customer Service Representative.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or higher diploma in Supply Chain or a related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant warehouse experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• An equivalent mix of education and practical experience may also be considered.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle operational challenges calmly.
• Strong communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Experience or familiarity with the facade and curtain wall market is preferred.
• Good problem-solving, teamwork, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Self-driven and able to take initiative in a busy environment.
