Role Overview
We are seeking a Transport Planner to join a specialist processing business in a permanent, long-term position. The role involves coordinating and planning transport activity across several sites as the company continues to expand.
The organisation operates across Europe and supports a broad client base. With ongoing growth and an increasing team size, this is a chance to join a business that values employee development and progression.

Location: Doncaster, England, United Kingdom. The role is primarily split between Doncaster and Audenshaw, with three days per week in Doncaster and two days per week at the Audenshaw site. Some flexibility may be available depending on the candidate’s location. Applicants based in or able to commute from Rotherham, Doncaster, Holmfirth, Barnsley, Sheffield, Audenshaw, Huddersfield, Glossop, and nearby areas will be considered, along with other locations.
What the Role Involves
- Planning and coordinating the transport function across the business’s multiple sites.
- Supporting a specialist processing operation with day-to-day transport planning activities.
- Handling a broad mix of transport-related duties, including documentation, compliance, and cost-related tasks.
- Working a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
- Splitting the working week between Doncaster and Audenshaw, subject to discussion based on location and suitability.
- Receiving ongoing training and opportunities for progression within the company.
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in a transport, logistics, or similar planning-focused role.
- A valid CPC qualification would be an advantage.
- A full driving licence is required.
- Someone seeking a permanent, long-term opportunity.
Pay and Benefits
The salary for this position is £34,000 to £40,000 per year. In addition, the package includes 33 days of holiday, training, progression opportunities, and further company benefits.
