Role overview
Morgan McKinley is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to support the design, build, and delivery of solutions on the ServiceNow platform in Singapore.
What you will do
- Create, customize, and deploy solutions using ServiceNow platform features.
- Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to collect and clarify business needs.
- Tailor ServiceNow applications, settings, and functionality to match operational requirements.
- Build and support workflows, forms, scripts, and reports within ServiceNow.
- Offer technical input and hands-on assistance for ServiceNow implementations.
- Help senior consultants translate business requirements into technical specifications for ServiceNow projects.
- Configure key ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, and CSM, to support IT service management processes.
- Take part in user acceptance testing and support data migration tasks.
- Develop basic dashboards and reports to track ServiceNow data and key performance indicators.
- Integrate ServiceNow ITOM modules with other enterprise systems to enable smoother information flow.
- Set up and maintain data integrations so information stays accurate and consistent.
- Produce and review reports related to Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management.
- Support readiness for audits and regulatory inspections.
Experience and technical background
- At least 3 years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, particularly across ITOM modules.
- Strong knowledge of Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management concepts and recommended practices.
- Exposure to observability is a plus.
- Experience working with ServiceNow workflows and forms.
- Familiarity with core ServiceNow objects such as tables, business rules, client scripts, UI actions, UI policies, script includes, and workflows.
- Experience with user administration, including groups, users, roles, and ACLs.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.
- ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified Implementation Specialist, are an advantage.
Additional qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Understanding of ITSM principles is beneficial.
- Basic scripting knowledge, especially JavaScript, is helpful.
- Strong analytical, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
- Willingness to contribute in a fast-moving environment.
