Senior Engineer - QA/QC

Role Overview

This position focuses on site-based quality assurance and quality control for civil works. The engineer will make sure all construction activities, materials, and completed work follow the project’s technical requirements, applicable codes, and standards. The role also includes working closely with the execution team, keeping QA/QC records up to date, and supporting adherence to safety and environmental expectations.

Core Responsibilities

• Carry out routine site checks and testing of construction materials such as concrete, steel, and aggregates, as well as ongoing work activities, to confirm they meet the required specifications.
• Study project-specific quality control plans, inspection and test plans, and method statements, then apply them across civil work activities.
• Track the calibration condition of testing instruments and ensure all equipment used on site remains compliant with the relevant standards.
• Identify and document any quality deviations or non-conformities, drive corrective and preventive action, and follow through until closure.
• Work with subcontractors and site engineers so that quality expectations are clearly understood and consistently followed during execution.
