Role summary

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity in Nairobi County for a Security Guard. The selected candidate will help safeguard the premises by monitoring entry and exit points, carrying out routine patrols, and preventing unauthorized access, theft, or damage. The position requires a consistent visible presence, quick response to incidents or alarms, and the ability to support visitors while upholding a professional and courteous manner.

Key duties

The Security Guard will work with the team to maintain site safety, follow security procedures, keep accurate records, and escalate concerns appropriately. The role calls for vigilance, discipline, and the ability to remain calm while responding to security-related situations.

Qualifications and expectations

Applicants should bring strong people skills and a service-oriented attitude when dealing with clients, visitors, and coworkers. Experience in private or physical security is important, especially in access control, patrol duties, and incident handling. Familiarity with identity verification, confidentiality, and privacy practices is also needed. Candidates must be able to think clearly under pressure, assess risk, and respond appropriately in emergencies.
