This opportunity is aimed at strengthening how risks are identified, assessed, and managed on major civil engineering programs. In this role, you will help project teams improve visibility into potential threats, support better decision-making, and contribute to the successful delivery of demanding infrastructure initiatives.

Expressions of interest are being invited for a Risk Engineer who can embed practical risk management methods throughout the project lifecycle and provide leadership teams with the insight needed to manage schedule, cost, and delivery exposure.

Responsibilities

• Create the project risk management plan and facilitate risk identification sessions with key stakeholders.
• Keep the risk register up to date and carry out both qualitative and quantitative risk assessments, including Monte Carlo modelling.
• Design and track mitigation actions across the design, construction, and commissioning stages.
• Review schedules and financial information to uncover delivery-related and cost-related risks.
• Assist with claims handling by recording variations, delays, and other relevant project impacts.
• Prepare risk heat maps and senior-level reports for project leaders and client representatives.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or another relevant technical discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in risk engineering or a similar project risk function, with infrastructure project exposure.
• Practical experience in quantitative risk analysis and Monte Carlo simulation using tools such as Primavera Risk Analysis, @RISK, Safran Risk, or comparable schedule risk software.
• Solid understanding of project controls, scheduling, cost management, and risk register processes.
• Must be currently located in Saudi Arabia.
