Role overview
Talogy is hiring a full-time permanent Research and Development Analyst to support the creation, upkeep, and improvement of content used across its products and solutions. The position contributes to important items on the global R&D roadmap and typically works within a defined practice area, product line, or vertical. The work draws on strong knowledge of I/O psychology to build psychometric content for a range of initiatives.
This role offers flexible working hours around core office availability from Monday to Friday. It can be done remotely, with occasional travel for meetings, events, and workshops.
Key responsibilities
- Own and help shape ongoing maintenance and enhancement work for products in the assigned area of focus.
- Work with cross-functional teams and provide subject-matter guidance on how tools should be designed, implemented, and positioned in the market.
- Assist in defining, building, and validating new assessment solutions.
- Contribute to multiple projects across different stages of the content development lifecycle.
- Plan and run advanced psychometric analyses and research aligned to project needs.
- Support publication and conference-related research, and help sales and marketing teams with technical and research-based materials.
Experience and background
Applicants should have prior exposure to R&D psychology roles or similar functions. A higher-education qualification in I/O, occupational, or organizational/business psychology is preferred, such as a Master’s degree, PhD ABD, or an equivalent credential like ABP Senior Business Psychologist.
Strong understanding of psychometric fundamentals and R&D methods is expected, including item response theory, item development, and validation. Experience creating psychometric assessment content such as personality, ability, or situational judgement test content, along with working alongside software or engineering teams to deploy it on technology platforms, is also important. Familiarity with large or complex datasets and confidence using R or other statistical analysis tools are required.
