Role overview
We are seeking a Repairs Estimator to join the Dublin team and report to the Repairs Manager. The role is important to the business because it focuses on spotting repair opportunities, preparing quotations for repair jobs, and moving customer discussions forward to secure chargeable orders.
Key responsibilities
- Spot potential chargeable repair work within the company’s maintenance portfolio.
- Prepare accurate and timely quotations using the company system.
- Produce enough quotes to meet the required order intake and profitability targets.
- Stay in regular contact with customers to make sure quotations are received and properly understood.
- Help manage customer expectations around the company’s services.
- Support regional service operations, including placing orders with the warehouse and receiving orders back from it.

Candidate profile
The ideal applicant will already have experience in a similar position within the lift sector or the wider engineering industry. The role also calls for strong IT ability, including Microsoft Office, along with the capacity to juggle several projects and budgets at once, work to demanding deadlines, stay organised, plan well, communicate clearly, and work effectively as part of a team. A full driving licence is required.
