ABC INDIA operates across four manufacturing units, with three facilities in Kolhapur and one in Uttarakhand. The business produces auto and non-auto components, supported by a casting capacity of 46,200 tonnes per year and more than 120 CNC, VMC, and HMC machines, along with advanced inspection systems. The organisation employs around 2,100 people.

Role Overview

This position is for a Quality Head for the machine shop. The role involves owning quality assurance and quality control activities, strengthening the quality management system, and ensuring compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific standards.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for leading day-to-day QA/QC operations, managing audits, overseeing CAPA closure, supporting supplier quality, handling inspections, and resolving customer complaints. The role also requires structured problem-solving using methods such as 8D, FMEA, 5 Why analysis, and standard quality tools.

You will work on improving key performance indicators including PPM, FPY, COPQ, and rejection levels. In addition, you are expected to drive Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma initiatives, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and build the capability of the quality team.

This opportunity is for a Quality Head position requiring a strong background in mechanical engineering and hands-on experience in manufacturing quality functions.

Education and Eligibility

Candidates with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering may apply.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this role is INR 12,00,000 to INR 15,00,000.
