Role Summary

This Abu Dhabi-based, on-site Project Manager position is responsible for steering energy projects from planning through execution and final delivery. The role requires close control of scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards, along with regular coordination across internal teams, clients, and other stakeholders.

Key Duties

The Project Manager will track project milestones, resolve risks and issues as they arise, and keep workstreams aligned to agreed objectives. The position also includes preparing progress updates, maintaining communication with clients and internal stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to safety, regulatory, and company requirements.

In addition, the role works alongside expediting, logistics, and inspection teams to keep materials, documentation, and services moving smoothly and on schedule.

Required Background

Candidates should bring strong project leadership capability, including hands-on experience managing scope, schedule, and budget. Experience in expediting, inspection, and logistics coordination is important, particularly for energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects. A bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related technical discipline is expected, and PMP or a similar certification is considered an added advantage.

The ideal candidate will have experience handling complex projects with multiple stakeholders, along with solid analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail, a strong safety mindset, and a commitment to compliance are essential. Good communication and interpersonal skills are needed to work effectively with teams, clients, and vendors. Familiarity with project management tools, MS Office, and ideally ERP or project controls systems is also beneficial. The position requires the ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi and perform well in a fast-moving project environment.
