Role overview
This position is responsible for leading the full lifecycle of physical expansion initiatives across the business. The role covers corporate new builds, overseas launches, franchise fit-outs, and estate-related projects. Success in this role means delivering sites that are fully commissioned, aligned with brand standards, ready for operations, completed on schedule, within approved budgets, and compliant with all legal and regulatory obligations.
Core responsibilities
- Plan and manage development projects from initial scope through to handover and operational readiness.
- Coordinate contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders to keep projects moving smoothly.
- Oversee construction activity, quality checks, and execution standards throughout delivery.
- Handle international rollout projects as well as franchise-related site development.
- Monitor the overall project portfolio, control costs, and ensure compliance with statutory and approval requirements.
- Maintain brand standards across all locations and support ongoing process improvement.
Performance expectations
- Projects are delivered on schedule.
- Budget targets are met, with cost efficiencies achieved where possible.
- Approvals and permits are secured in a timely manner.
- Brand audit scores remain strong.

Qualifications and experience
A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a closely related field is required. A PMP or PRINCE2 certification is preferred. Candidates should bring 7–10 years of project management experience in retail, hospitality, food and beverage, or other multi-site development environments. Prior exposure to international projects and franchise development is essential. The role also requires strong working knowledge of fit-out delivery, MEP systems, construction processes, procurement, budgeting, and regulatory approvals, along with readiness to travel internationally when needed.

The role is based in Doha, Qatar and is a full-time, on-site position.
