Role Summary

The Porter helps support quality vehicle repairs by preparing customer vehicles before delivery and keeping the shop, office, and surrounding areas clean and orderly.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow the company’s WOW operating process consistently.
• Handle daily cleaning and upkeep of the office interior, including emptying trash, cleaning floors, and dusting desks, counters, and work areas.
• Maintain housekeeping in the production area by removing waste, sweeping floors, disposing of unused vehicle parts, and returning tools and equipment to their proper places.
• Keep parking areas and grounds tidy, including clearing sidewalks when needed.
• Wash customer vehicles before repairs begin.
• Clean the inside and outside of vehicles after repairs are completed.
• Move customer vehicles to outside repair vendors as needed.

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Prior automotive experience is also preferred.

Other Requirements

• Ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Clear close-up vision.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong focus on accuracy and detail.
• Ability to pull, push, and carry items.
• Ability to walk for 5+ hours.
• Ability to sit as needed.
• Ability to stand for 5+ hours.
• Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl for 1+ hour.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts.
• Physical tasks may include stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.

Compensation
