CRISP (Centre for Research and Industrial Staff Performance) is a non-profit organization founded in 1997 under the Indo–German Technical Cooperation agreement. Based in Bhopal, it works across India and internationally, focusing on people development and organizational capability building. Its work supports government agencies, industries, colleges, development groups, and civil society through training, capacity building, and skill development programs.

The organization is equipped with advanced facilities such as laboratories for Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, Production Technology, ICT, and Multimedia Technology. It is also known for its work in Technical Vocational Education & Training (TVET), training institution management, and entrepreneurship development.

Role summary

This is a full-time, on-site field position in Madhya Pradesh. The Mobilizer will help identify, approach, and engage prospective learners, trainees, and community stakeholders for CRISP’s programs. The position is focused on outreach, candidate conversion, coordination with local ecosystem partners, and support for enrolment and program delivery.

What the role involves

The person in this role will conduct field outreach, hold community-level meetings, and work closely with local institutions, government offices, and industry partners to create awareness about training and skill development initiatives.

They will also assist with candidate registration and admission support, keep detailed records of outreach efforts, share updates and feedback with project and training teams, and monitor participant progress and outcomes so that targets and deadlines are achieved.

Qualifications and capabilities

Applicants should have demonstrated experience in community outreach, field activation, and stakeholder engagement, especially in education, skilling, or development-focused projects.

Strong verbal communication and people skills are important, including confidence in speaking to groups, building rapport, and working with diverse communities.

The role also requires basic office and documentation ability, such as maintaining records, drafting simple reports, and managing candidate information in databases.

Knowledge of local areas, the social and economic environment of Madhya Pradesh, and awareness of government or NGO-led development schemes will be an added advantage.

Candidates must be comfortable working independently in the field, managing time well, and meeting outreach and enrolment goals. Familiarity with mobile phones, messaging apps, email, spreadsheets, and online forms is also expected.

The minimum educational requirement is Higher Secondary (10+2). A diploma or graduation in social work, development studies, education, or a similar discipline is beneficial.

Experience in TVET, skill development, or livelihood promotion initiatives will be considered a strong plus.
