Role Summary

The Logistics Analyst will support daily logistics execution, coordinate with external service partners, and help improve supply chain processes through analysis, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role works closely with internal and external stakeholders to resolve fulfillment and freight-related issues and to strengthen operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day-to-day execution with third-party service providers, freight forwarders, and brokers, while independently resolving customer fulfillment and freight management issues in coordination with internal and external teams.
• Support the design and rollout of ERP systems and applications that align with business requirements and help advance automation efforts.
• Work with IT teams to implement system improvements that enhance operational effectiveness.
• Spot process gaps, identify opportunities to reduce cost, and drive improvement projects with freight forwarders and brokers.
• Handle ad hoc questions and carry out quantitative and qualitative analysis to solve operational challenges and improve overall performance.
• Own logistics KPI tracking by reviewing supplier performance metrics, conducting regular business reviews, and driving root-cause analysis and corrective actions with service providers.
• Use advanced analytical methods and tools to detect patterns, evaluate trends, and uncover opportunities for better processes and cost savings.

Requirements

• A four-year college degree is required; a bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics is preferred, and a master’s degree is an advantage.
• Prior experience in supply chain management, inventory control, import/export operations, logistics, or a related function is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle is preferred.
• EDI experience is considered a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel at an advanced or expert level, plus Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
• Comfort using data visualization tools such as Tableau, OBIEE, or Power BI.
• Experience analyzing large data sets, understanding business processes, and documenting business or system requirements.
• Ability to consistently meet daily and weekly deadlines and support departmental SLA targets.
