About the Role
S&PB Retail Ltd, a growing company with over 90 shops across the North West, North Wales, Yorkshire, and Midlands, is seeking a motivated Junior Shop Manager for its Southport location. We pride ourselves on offering customers high-quality sandwiches, savouries, and cakes at excellent prices in a fast-paced high street environment. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily shop operations to ensure smooth functioning.
- Implement strategies to drive sales growth and achieve targets.
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service at all times.
- Support the training, development, and motivation of the shop team.
- Maintain strict adherence to hygiene and food safety standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail management is required.
- Experience within a food retail environment is highly desirable but not essential.
- A strong work ethic and a proactive, 'can-do' attitude are essential.
- Ability to manage daily shop operations effectively.
- Skills in driving sales and customer service excellence.
- Capability to train and motivate a team.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.

Additional Information
The typical working hours are from 7:15 am to 5:15 pm, working 5 days out of 7. This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week.
