Role overview

DTCP is a major investment platform operating at the intersection of digital infrastructure and technology growth equity. With a footprint across Europe and the U.S., the firm oversees multi-billion-dollar funds and backs leading businesses that support the digital economy, including fibre networks, data centres, towers, cloud services, and software companies.

The organization is looking for a high-potential intern to join the Strategy Office and gain direct exposure to how an international investment platform is run, developed, and expanded.

In this internship, you will work alongside the Head of Strategy Office & Operations to help shape priorities, advance strategic initiatives, and keep execution strong across the business. The role includes contact with cross-functional teams, business planning, performance monitoring, leadership support, and interaction with senior stakeholders.

What you will do

• Assist the Head of Strategy and Operations with strategic workstreams across DTCP’s infrastructure and software investment businesses.
• Carry out research and analysis on market developments, investment themes, and competitor activity.
• Prepare briefing notes, slide decks, and talking points for investor discussions, conferences, and media conversations.
• Support the alignment of internal leadership priorities so the organization stays focused on the most important tasks.

• Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program, with availability for a full-time internship during the year.
• Strong academic results in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, IT, AI, or a similar discipline.
• Solid analytical and research ability, with the capacity to simplify complex topics into clear takeaways and maintain a strong eye for detail.
• Comfort in a fast-moving environment with multiple projects running at once.
• Excellent written and spoken English; German would be an advantage.
• Independent, well-organized, proactive, and resourceful approach to work.
• Sound judgment, maturity, and discretion when dealing with confidential matters.
• Genuine interest in digital infrastructure, technology, and investing.

Location: Frankfurt

Duration: 3 to 6 months, with a possible extension.
