This permanent full-time position is based in Crestmead, Queensland. The job involves serving multiple customer locations, loading liquid waste such as grease traps and septic material into a tanker, and delivering it to a disposal facility for recycling. You will operate a modern and dependable fleet while following company procedures, completing vehicle operation tasks, and maintaining accurate paperwork and records.

Working conditions

Permanent full-time role in Crestmead, QLD
Day shift, with starts generally around 4:00 am
Monday to Friday roster, plus overtime when needed
Hourly pay of $34.08, with overtime paid at applicable overtime rates
$1,500 retention bonus paid every 3 months
Uniforms and personal protective equipment are supplied
Induction and training are provided

Responsibilities

Your key duties will centre on safe waste collection and transport, together with accurate operational administration.

Collect liquid waste from customer sites and load it into a tanker
Transport collected waste to the disposal plant for recycling
Operate vehicles and equipment in line with company rules and safety requirements
Complete documents, logs, and records with accuracy
Work safely as part of a modern fleet operation serving multiple locations

Requirements

To be considered, you should bring the right licence, attitude, and willingness to undergo pre-employment checks. Prior experience in the waste sector is not essential.

Manual HR licence or higher, with a clean driving record
Willingness to drive MR trucks
Reliable, positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Ability to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
Ability to obtain a National Police Check, which is paid for by the employer
No prior waste industry experience required
