Housekeeper

Overview

Seaham Hall in County Durham is looking for a Hotel Housekeeper to support the delivery of exceptional cleanliness standards across guest accommodation and the hotel’s public and operational spaces. This role sits within a lively housekeeping team and reports to the General Manager.

Pay and hours

The pay for this position is up to £12.71 per hour, with the exact rate based on experience and confirmed during interview. Working hours range from 0 to 32 hours per week, usually scheduled between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm. Both part-time and full-time arrangements are available. The role includes weekend and bank holiday working.

• Maintain high standards of cleaning and presentation in guest rooms and hotel facilities.

Candidate profile

The hotel is seeking someone with prior housekeeping experience if possible, along with strong customer service and communication skills. Attention to detail is important, as is the ability to work well with management, staff, and guests in a professional way. Because of the hotel’s location, having your own transport is required.
