Role Overview

Buffalo Wings & Rings Dubai is hiring a Hostess for its Dubai outlet. The role is centered on welcoming guests, managing reservations, supporting smooth seating flow, and ensuring visitors receive attentive and memorable service from arrival to departure.

Main Duties

• Build a strong understanding of the outlet’s theme, menu, beverages, and ongoing offers so you can explain them clearly to guests.
• Handle reservations and guest contact professionally, whether the booking comes by phone, email, online platforms, or in person, and keep the reservation system updated.
• Confirm bookings within the required timeframe and coordinate seating plans and reservation schedules with management before service begins.
• Keep the table plan current by updating the system accurately and making unavailable tables live again as soon as they are ready.
• Carry out billing-related duties in line with restaurant procedures and cashiering rules when needed.
• Farewell guests warmly and thank them sincerely for visiting.
• Monitor guest-facing areas, including restrooms, to make sure they remain clean during operating hours, and report any issues to supervisors or housekeeping.
• Communicate promptly and clearly with colleagues and management to prevent misunderstandings, especially regarding floor plans, seating arrangements, and guest requests.
• Work as a cooperative team member and assist with operational needs such as taking orders, clearing tables, or serving food when support is required.
• Maintain grooming and presentation standards at all times to reflect a polished, professional image.
• Pay close attention to guest behavior, needs, and expectations so service can be tailored to create a consistently positive experience.
• Speak and write confidently in English, and ideally additional languages, while presenting menus and recommending items to guests.
• Bring a warm, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude, and remain calm and solution-focused when managing difficult guest situations.
• Create memorable moments for guests through thoughtful gestures and attentive service.

Requirements

• A high school certificate or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience as a hostess in an F&B setting is required.
• Previous experience in a busy, fast-moving restaurant environment is preferred.
• Strong understanding of guest service expectations and the ability to deliver excellent customer care.
• Prior exposure to table management systems is an advantage.
• Comfortable handling multiple tasks and understanding the pace and sequence of restaurant service.
• Capable of managing phone conversations and written communication in a professional manner.
• Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office.
• Clear communication skills for interacting with teammates and supervisors.
• Very strong spoken and written English skills.
