About the Role

Star Construction LLC is hiring a Flagger I to help keep public areas safe while work is underway at active job sites. This role centers on traffic direction, site safety support, and general field assistance in coordination with the foreman or supervisor.

Key Duties

• Direct vehicle and pedestrian movement around active worksites using paddles and hand signals
• Set out flags, cones, signs, and other traffic-control markers
• Support general construction activities when requested by the foreman or supervisor
• Operate company vehicles safely and comply with driving rules and policies
• Follow applicable local, state, and federal DOT requirements
• Keep company vehicles and equipment clean and in good working condition
• Work outdoors in changing weather conditions
• Handle additional tasks as assigned

What You Need

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for this employer
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant work history
• Valid state driver’s license that is not provisional, with an acceptable driving record
• Prior flagging experience is preferred

Physical Requirements

• Regularly expected to work alone in remote locations, operate a vehicle, bend, stoop, squeeze, stand, walk, climb stairs, lift 10 to 25 pounds, use fine hand movements, and use a keyboard and mouse
• Occasionally required to work with arms above shoulder level, climb stairs, and lift 26 to 55 pounds
