About the role

Shipa Delivery is a rapidly expanding digital last-mile logistics business serving the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait as part of the Agility Logistics group. The company is hiring a Finance Manager to take end-to-end ownership of the financial function. This is a practical, high-impact position that blends strategic finance with daily operational control. You will oversee month-end closing, management reporting, budgeting, audit coordination, and AP/AR activities, while acting as the main finance link between business teams and senior leadership. Comfort with AI-based finance tools is an advantage.

Role summary

The position calls for a driven and data-oriented finance professional who can work closely with business units to deliver insights that improve decision-making. Core responsibilities include financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, cash flow oversight, performance analysis, and compliance across relevant jurisdictions. The ideal candidate will bring a solid accounting foundation, experience with finance systems and analytics tools, and the ability to support profitability, operational efficiency, and business growth.

Financial reporting

Manage the full monthly close process for all three entities.
Prepare MIS reporting for senior management and the shareholders' office.
Produce quarterly and annual financial statements in line with IFRS or other applicable standards.
Carry out ad hoc financial analysis for specific projects as needed.

AP, AR, and reconciliations

Supervise high-volume accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit control activities.
Handle bank reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations across multiple entities.
Track outstanding receivables and work through billing-related issues.
Continuously improve the efficiency of AP/AR processes and controls.

Budgeting, forecasting, and treasury

Lead the annual budget cycle and quarterly forecasting across the UAE, KSA, and Kuwait.
Monitor cash flow and ensure funding needs are addressed proactively.
Coordinate banking relationships and capital allocation decisions.
Review costs and evaluate profitability trends.

Audit, compliance, tax, and team leadership

Work with external auditors to complete the annual statutory audit.
Oversee UAE VAT and corporate tax filings, along with compliance obligations in KSA and Kuwait.
Manage and develop a distributed finance team across three markets.
Champion automation and AI-enabled improvements across finance operations.

Qualifications and experience

CA, ACA, ACCA, CPA, or a Master's degree in Finance or Accounting.
8 to 12 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
Hands-on experience across reporting, AP/AR, budgeting, audit, and tax functions.
Experience in logistics, freight, or other transaction-heavy industries is highly desirable.
Familiarity with UAE VAT, corporate tax, and cross-border GCC compliance is preferred.

Skills and competencies

Advanced Excel capabilities and working knowledge of ERP platforms such as Odoo, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
Strong analytical thinking with a high level of accuracy and detail orientation.
Ability to explain financial results clearly to colleagues outside finance.
Confident communication skills for interaction with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
Experience managing remote or geographically distributed finance teams.
Openness to using AI tools to streamline and modernize finance processes.
