About the role
This position leads the finance function end to end, with responsibility for governance, compliance, reporting, and operational excellence. The role supports senior leaders by turning financial data into actionable insights, strengthening controls, and guiding business decisions. It also includes direct oversight of a finance team and close collaboration across departments.
Key responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate finance activities across treasury, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and risk management.
- Create and maintain financial strategies, plans, and internal policies.
- Ensure accounting practices, reporting standards, and internal control frameworks remain robust and compliant.
- Review financial performance and communicate insights that help leadership make informed decisions.
- Own the month-end close cycle, budgeting, forecasting, and audit coordination for both internal and external reviews.
- Manage and develop a team of finance professionals.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and tax compliance, including VAT and corporate tax obligations.
- Monitor treasury operations and cash flow to support business stability.
Minimum qualifications
- At least 10 years of finance experience, with leadership or managerial responsibility included.
- A CPA (USA) or Chartered Accountant (India) credential is required.
- Strong understanding of international financial and regulatory requirements.
- Hands-on experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation.
- Practical exposure to treasury functions and financial modelling.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office and finance platforms such as Hyperion or Oracle.
- Well-developed analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Capability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred background
- Prior experience leading larger finance teams or teams with multiple specialties.
- Experience in international, complex, or highly structured organisations is an advantage.

This is a regular full-time position based onsite in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
