Role overview

Babylist is seeking an experienced Branded Content Editor to own sponsored email production end to end while also helping shape how AI is used to scale and improve the team’s work. This is primarily a writing and editing position, with a strong need for creativity, process discipline, deadline management, and collaboration.

What you’ll do

• Write, edit, build, and quality-check branded emails before launch.
• Define and maintain the team’s standards for branded email, including voice, quality, and production workflow.
• Create AI-supported processes that reduce manual effort and speed up production.
• Share AI tools and best practices with teammates so the whole team can work more efficiently.
• Review email performance metrics, apply insights to improve copy, and deliver monthly reporting.
• Juggle several assignments at once in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while meeting deadlines.
• Contribute to other branded content needs as priorities change, including articles, newsletter placements, and feed copy.

What we’re looking for

You should be an excellent writer and editor with a strong feel for brand voice, able to move quickly without sacrificing accuracy. The role calls for someone comfortable with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini for research, drafting, data work, and workflow automation. You should also be comfortable in Figma, able to build and review email layouts, and confident using performance data to guide decisions. Strong systems thinking, cross-functional collaboration, clear communication, and the ability to handle client and legal edits while protecting the user experience are all important.

Experience

At least 4 years of experience writing and editing branded content, preferably at a digital publisher or media company.

Compensation

The estimated starting salary for this position is $119,852 to $143,839, with pay determined by location, experience, and qualifications. Future increases may be based on performance, growth in the role, and internal pay equity.
