Role overview
The District Manager will oversee a cluster of stores across a designated region, making sure day-to-day operations run smoothly, sales targets are achieved, and profitability is strengthened. This role also focuses on building a strong team culture aligned with MINISO’s values.
What you will do
- Manage a district of 8 to 16 stores and confirm that operational, branding, and presentation standards are consistently followed. In larger districts, support from an Area Manager may be provided.
- Plan and execute actions that improve sales and profitability while keeping teams energized and focused on results.
- Review financial statements and key performance indicators to spot patterns, opportunities, and areas that need attention.
- Recruit, onboard, develop, and retain strong Store Managers and Area Managers where applicable, while helping build future leadership talent to support the company’s growth.
- Visit stores regularly to evaluate performance, coach managers, and ensure company expectations are being met.
- Make sure every location delivers the level of customer service expected by MINISO.
- Apply and reinforce company policies, operating procedures, and safety requirements.
- Oversee the rollout of merchandising, marketing, and promotional activities throughout the district.
- Work closely with corporate and regional leaders to keep district priorities aligned with broader company goals.
- Promote loss prevention practices and work to reduce shrink across all stores in the district.

- Solid commercial understanding, including P&L oversight and labor cost management.

- Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned district.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
- 3 to 5 years of experience managing multiple retail locations; experience in specialty or value retail is preferred.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is USD 72,100 to USD 90,000 per year.
