The Data Analyst, Senior Specialist will guide data-informed decisions across the business by leading sophisticated analytical work, improving reporting and data workflows, and producing insights that help shape strategy. The role requires working with large datasets, uncovering patterns, measuring results, and communicating findings in a way that enables action.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business priorities, problems, and objectives, then structure the request into an analytical plan and carry complex assignments through to completion.
• Assign work where needed and provide both practical and strategic direction to teammates.
• Act as the analytics subject-matter resource on cross-functional initiatives tied to major strategic efforts.
• Collect and combine structured and unstructured data, then check it for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Review historical information to identify patterns, trends, and meaningful insights using advanced analytical techniques.
• Assess and validate the analytical methods used by other analysts.
• Create and present high-quality visualizations and internal presentations that convert analysis into concrete recommendations for business leaders.
• Build, own, and maintain recurring analytics or reporting workflows.
• Help grow the analytics community by mentoring colleagues, coaching peers, and connecting others with learning resources and training.
• Take part in scheduled analytics seminars and present when needed.
• Support special initiatives and carry out additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant professional experience, including 4 or more years in advanced analytics, statistical modeling, or business intelligence.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or Mathematics; B.E./B.Tech is also acceptable where applicable.
• Advanced SQL skills for querying data, tuning performance, and managing databases.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python or R for statistical analysis, automation, and machine learning model development.
• Experience working with cloud data environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, including data lakes and large-scale data processing tools.
• Ability to interpret complex findings and turn them into practical recommendations for business stakeholders.
