Corporate Intelligence Specialist

Role overview

We are looking for a Corporate Intelligence Specialist in Singapore to join a global corporate intelligence practice that supports private equity investors, financial institutions, and multinational organisations on significant transactions and complex strategic decisions across Asia.

This position involves a wide mix of enhanced due diligence, investigation, and geopolitical research work. You will combine open-source research with human-source intelligence to produce practical insights on challenging and commercially important matters across the region.

The opportunity is well suited to someone intellectually curious who wants to build strong investigative, analytical, and client-facing capabilities within a collaborative international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out enhanced due diligence, corporate intelligence, and investigative work for private equity firms, private banks, and multinational companies.
• Perform advanced research using open sources and human-source intelligence for pre-deal integrity checks, political risk reviews, market entry analysis, and other tailored investigations.
• Investigate high-risk individuals, politically exposed persons, and complex ownership structures while flagging reputational, regulatory, sanctions, and wider integrity risks.
• Turn large and complex information sets into clear written reports and concise verbal updates for senior stakeholders and clients.
• Assist with business development activities by preparing proposals, research plans, and client-facing presentations.
• Help grow and strengthen the firm’s Asia-based human source network.

Skills and experience

• Strong command of written and spoken English, plus fluency in at least one Southeast Asian language.
• About 1.5 to 5 years of full-time post-graduate experience in corporate intelligence, investigations, journalism, government, strategic advisory, or a similar analytical field.
• Hands-on experience using specialist research tools such as LexisNexis, Factiva, and similar databases.
• Good working knowledge of language-specific databases, local media, and public records.
• Solid understanding of financial, commercial, and legal concepts, with the judgement to interpret complex information accurately.
