Cement Mason

Role overview

VINCI is hiring a Cement Mason to support its road construction projects in the Surrey, British Columbia area, with work carried out across the Fraser Valley region.

Key responsibilities

• Build and position concrete forms for sidewalks and curb-and-gutter work.
• Place concrete, then level, spread, and finish it using the appropriate tools and methods.
• Track the curing stage to make sure the concrete hardens correctly.
• Restore and upkeep existing concrete installations and surfaces.
• Work in line with safety procedures and keep the job site organized and tidy.
• Coordinate with co-workers so assignments are finished on schedule and within budget.

Compensation

The role pays between $21.88 and $45.51 per hour.

Qualifications

• Prior hands-on experience as a Cement Mason is preferred, especially in road construction.
• Practical knowledge of concrete mixing, placement, and finishing methods.
• Ability to understand blueprints and construction drawings.
• Good attention to detail along with strong troubleshooting skills.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

Work location

Assignments will be based on projects throughout the Fraser Valley Area.
