Role Overview
The Business Development Representative for Singapore will be the initial contact point for prospective customers across Southeast Asia. Reporting to the Manager, Business Development, APAC, this is a fast-paced, high-impact role suited to someone who is curious, self-driven, and interested in building a career in enterprise SaaS sales.
The main focus of the position is to identify, engage, and qualify potential customers and create a strong pipeline of opportunities for the Account Executive team to advance.
Key Responsibilities
You will run targeted outbound prospecting, develop personalized outreach strategies, and book qualified meetings and product demos. The role also involves maintaining accurate CRM records, collaborating closely with Account Executives, and supporting account-based marketing initiatives.
In addition, you will contribute feedback to marketing and leadership, stay engaged in coaching and training, strengthen your knowledge of the CFO solutions market, and work toward long-term growth into a Senior BDR or Account Executive role.
Experience and Skills Required
The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in BDR, SDR, or inside sales roles, ideally in B2B SaaS or technology. You should have a strong record of meeting or exceeding outbound and pipeline targets, along with practical experience using sales tools such as Salesforce, Gong, Claude, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo.
Strong English communication skills are essential, especially the ability to write clear, persuasive outreach messages. The role also calls for strong ownership, attention to detail, resilience, and the ability to manage a high activity load without sacrificing quality.
Preferred experience includes prospecting into finance, accounting, or ERP decision-makers; familiarity with ABM and intent data tools like 6sense; knowledge of the CFO solutions, FP&A, or enterprise finance software space; and experience in a fast-moving SaaS environment. Additional language abilities such as Mandarin, Bahasa Indonesia, or Thai are a plus.
