Branch Allrounder

Role Overview

This is a varied, hands-on branch position for someone who enjoys moving between workshop, warehouse, and customer-facing tasks. The role is based in Paget, Queensland, and is suited to an energetic person who wants to build a long-term career with a growing regional business.

The company operates throughout Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, and Singapore, supplying industrial products and engineering services across the Asia Pacific. With a long-term growth plan in place through 2027, the business is investing in its people, systems, and development pathways.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, with flexible roster options available for the right person. The position offers the chance to be home every night.

What You Will Do

• Provide dependable, high-quality service to customers across the branch.
• Help prepare workshop orders by assembling items according to customer needs and specifications.
• Adjust to customer deadlines and work to meet turnaround expectations.
• Support trade counter and phone-based sales enquiries, then follow up promptly on quotes, pricing, and product questions.
• Track stock levels and communicate replenishment requirements to the procurement team.
• Pick, pack, and verify orders accurately, prepare shipping paperwork, and check orders before invoicing.
• Handle physical goods safely while receiving, storing, and dispatching stock.
• Move between branch activities as needed, supporting workshop and warehouse operations.

What The Employer Is Looking For

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• At least 6 months of experience in customer service, a workshop, or a warehouse setting.
• Comfort working both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift heavy and bulky items while handling stock and completing pick/pack tasks.
• A proactive attitude, solid work ethic, and willingness to contribute positively to the team.
• Basic computer capability, including using Outlook and Excel.
• A current driver’s licence.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial work, hydraulic hose assemblies, or a similar environment is preferred.
