Bouncer - Security

Overview

This role is for a security-focused bouncer based in Kelowna, British Columbia. The position is full-time and must be performed in person at the worksite, with no remote option available.

Language Requirements

English fluency is required.

Education

Applicants should have an other trades certificate or diploma, preferably in Security and protective services, other.

Experience

Previous experience of 1 year to less than 2 years is expected.

Work Location

This is an on-site position. All duties must be carried out at the physical location.

Responsibilities

• Support guests and clients who need extra assistance or accommodations.
• Prepare written reports as required.
• Apply rules and procedures to preserve order, settle disputes, and observe activity within the establishment.
• Identify and help stop shoplifting and other theft in retail settings.
• Maintain a professional and courteous approach when dealing with customers.

Experience and Specialization

Prior work in security services is preferred.
