- Understand vehicle specifications and product variant strategies.
- Manage how different vehicle systems interact to support performance, reliability, and efficiency.
- Define design goals and parameters for vehicle systems and sub-systems.
- Select and develop DVPs for vehicle systems and sub-systems.
- Recommend solutions based on CAE or virtual simulation outputs for components and parts.
- Contribute to at least one complete project delivery from start to finish.
- Maintain compliance with automotive standards, design quality expectations, project timelines, and delivery targets.
Requirements
- B.Tech / B.E. in any specialization.
- Hands-on experience with BIW design and automotive product development.
- Knowledge of BIW parameters, master sections, welding criteria, GD&T, and fixture concepts.
- Ability to interpret CAE or simulation reports and translate them into design actions.
- Understanding of durability, NVH, safety, and regulatory requirements in vehicle design.
- Experience working in cross-functional engineering environments.
- Familiarity with vehicle specifications, variant management, and system integration.
- Exposure to DFA, DFM, and quality-focused design practices.
- Proven involvement in at least one full project delivery.
