Role Overview

This position is focused on keeping receiving and merchandising work running smoothly while helping the team process inventory efficiently. The role also supports a well-kept sales floor and a strong customer experience through professional, friendly interaction with shoppers.

Key Duties

  • Deliver a welcoming experience for both customers and internal team members.

  • Coordinate truck unloading and make sure merchandise moves to the sales floor in priority order.
  • Coach and support associates on merchandising and processing best practices.

  • Make sure associates complete tasks in line with the store’s plan, adjusting priorities when needed.
  • Track team productivity and provide coaching when performance needs improvement.
  • Arrange and cycle back stock so replenishment is fast and simple.
  • Maintain merchandising standards, signage requirements, and the overall recovery philosophy.
  • Keep the backroom clean, organized, and compliant with all standards.
  • Support recycling requirements and any applicable hazardous waste procedures.
  • Communicate priorities, progress, and updates clearly with managers and associates.
  • Give and receive recognition as well as constructive feedback.
  • Partner with management to identify associate training needs.
  • Follow labor laws, company policies, and store procedures.
  • Support credit and loyalty initiatives.
