About the Role

This role is an individual contributor position focused on helping move products through the supply chain to customer teams. The Associate Operations Planner supports reporting, production monitoring, system upkeep, and vendor coordination. The position also helps manage component procurement in alignment with finished-goods production schedules at vendor sites and works closely with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery to customer warehouses. A key part of the job is maintaining accurate SAP and PLM setup and data integrity, along with using strong prioritization, multitasking, and detail orientation to resolve supply chain issues and reduce delays.
Vendor Management
- Monitor component inventory and ensure inventory moves on time.
- Support portal transactions with Inventory Control, contract manufacturers, and suppliers, and help resolve mismatches in quantities or dates.
- Develop effective working relationships with vendor partners, Global Transportation, and internal stakeholders to keep projects moving on schedule.
- Share new launch forecasts with vendors.
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate master data setup in SAP and PLM.
- Speed up component shipments and communicate any production impact.
- Support Bill of Material accuracy and work with Inventory Control during Book to Book reviews to identify and resolve BOM issues.
- Assist Inventory Control with physical inventory activities and help resolve discrepancies.
- Support quarterly inventory reporting.
Transaction and Data Management
- Handle daily system transaction issues at the vendor base, including communicating downstream impacts and suggesting solutions when problems occur.
- Create and release Just in Time purchase orders for Beauty Park suppliers, along with non-inventory purchase orders needed for business operations.
- Manage purchase order dates and related system updates.
- Work with the Quality team to review holds and make sure samples are processed promptly.
Reporting
- Prepare multiple daily and weekly reports.
- Meet required timelines that support component forecasting and launch planning processes.
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of experience in supply chain work.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong organizational ability and time management skills.
- Capable of building trusted, collaborative relationships with both internal and external partners.
- Proficiency with PC-based tools, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
