Area Sales Manager

Role Summary

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving group business across a designated market by leading a team of 7 to 10 Cluster Managers. The role focuses on executing sales activities through the assigned team and agents so that the business plan is achieved or surpassed. A key part of the job is to stay closely connected with the sales team, keep them motivated, support their business needs, and build stronger relationships with partners to improve sales performance.

Key Result Areas

The role centers on maintaining active coordination with the allocated team, agents, and other intermediaries, while also monitoring business volumes, market movement, and competitor offerings. The manager is expected to help ensure timely delivery of quote requests to clients and partners, support the achievement of business targets, gather market feedback, and contribute to product and solution improvements at an organizational level.

Accountabilities and Supporting Actions

• Stay in regular contact with the assigned team, agents, and intermediaries to keep sales efforts aligned and responsive.
• Ensure the team sources quote requests from the market and delivers them to clients and partners within required timelines.
• Track business volumes and growth trends on a regular basis, while seeking support from relevant stakeholders to meet targets.
• Study market conditions and competitor offerings to help channel partners respond effectively.
• Collect feedback from the field and partners to identify opportunities for product innovation and better solutions.
• Work with partners on client-specific needs to improve conversion outcomes.
• Guide the team in managing their sales pipeline, staying updated on progress, and consistently working toward target achievement.

Additional Information

The position is based in Andhra Pradesh, India and follows a full-time, onsite working model.
