About the Company

The team brings together architects, project managers, construction managers, planners, community specialists, information technology professionals, and other experts.
Role Overview
This is a full-time Architectural Designer position for someone with 2 to 4 years of post-graduate experience and a degree in architecture. The role offers the chance to contribute to projects that reuse, restore, and modernize existing buildings, while gaining broad exposure across the full design and delivery process. You will also receive guidance and mentorship from experienced colleagues in a collaborative office environment.
What You Will Do
- Carry out site and field surveys to gather project information.
- Develop early design ideas and refine them into workable concepts.
- Prepare drawings and visual materials for presentations and client reviews.
- Produce construction documents that support project execution.
- Support construction administration activities during implementation.
- Work closely with principals, project managers, designers, and other team members through regular meetings and individual discussions.
Required Qualifications
- Professional degree in architecture or a closely related discipline.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in a comparable role.
- Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam.
- Strong ability in design thinking, visualization, and presentation.
- Willingness to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and methods.
- Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Careful attention to detail, with experience supporting projects from design development through construction administration.
- Strong interest in adaptive reuse, preservation, or work involving existing buildings.
- Ability to travel anywhere in the United States by car and/or airplane for periods ranging from one day to two weeks.
Work Location
The role is based in Boston, Massachusetts and starts out as an in-person position. Greater flexibility may become available as you settle into the role. Some travel across the United States will be required.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $58,000 to $75,000 per year, depending on experience.
